20 May ~ 2020 - Monthly Spellbinder Story - Jeffco Schools (by Jim Ratzloff)

This is a short 4 minute personal story about what happens when you think you see a grizzly behind a tree on an early morning backpack trip. Background information: The 'pepper spray' I mention in the story is a special large canistor of Bear Pepper Spray that is used to turn bears away during close encounters. A 'Spruce' is an evergreen tree that grows along watercourses (Blue Spruce) or high mountains. (Engelmann Spruce).
