Here is another layout of the photos from my recent backpack trip west of Leadville, in the Collegiates, where we camped well above timberline, at 12200 ft. The dogs and I only got up once in the new moon night, at 1am, when I took the star photo. I used a 8mm fish eye lens, which captured most of the night sky.

The alpine wildflowers were at peak bloom for the summer. More photos of our trip are below
