The lake is frozen this morning. The path through the ice I made yesterday afternoon is marked by only faint lines. Good thing I decided to kayak yesterday.

And this morning was another example how fortunate I am to have a greenbelt like this just down the hill, to give me an intimate look at all the seasons. Taking frequent walks on home ground is a simple joy that can bring a lot of happiness, as well as good health.
