By midFebruary I have had enough of snow and snowshoeing. A great alternative is just to the west in Canyon Country, which starts to warm up earlier than Colorado. My friend Tricia joined me for a very adventurous week, camping and hiking. We made it to a secluded canyon to visit a gallery of rock paintings and carvings like I have never seen before, over 1000 years old. It was a wonderful trip - the dogs like Tricia and so do I.
