The dogs and I had a wonderful backpack trip where we camped above timberline in midweek. The alpine wildflowers were at peak bloom, which was quite a treat.

I was offtrail up a ridge I first visited in 1998 with Bud, Boogie, and Cody. It is a special place. I have spread some of Bud's and Ben's ashes up there.
